Junk food corporations make business and customers through making their products addictive
and hard to overcome
Food companies employ different strategies to ensure that the food products that they
produce get maximum attention from the consumers. Junk food companies despite being known
that their food products that are unhealthy for human healthy they seem to have a greater influence
on how consumers tend to get used to them. They are made and advertised in a very vital way
where they capture the imaginations of the consumers and largely have become addictive to many
individuals. It is no accident that junk foods taste amazing and are irresistible when compared to
other food products, which are considered healthier. Thus, these junk food companies have
significantly and clearly assessed the market and develop different engagement strategies where
they know they will have a huge influence on the ability of a consumer to make a decision.
Therefore, this paper provides a significant argument regarding how different companies can make
junk food but still have a huge following and have their businesses flourish.

False advertisement
It is quite clear and obvious that most of the advertisement in the mainstream and online
media are mainly for these junk food companies. The advertisement is developed in a certain that
highlights important aspects of the foods but do not focus on the negative aspects. Even though
the idea in the advertising may be true, they usually exaggerate a great deal to ensure that
consumers are positively influenced. Even though it is illegal to provide false information to
consumers about a given product, most food companies do not necessarily, adhere to this type of
consideration as they usually focus on improving their sales through customer engagement, which
is achieved through inaccurate advertising. An advertisement is a marketing tool, and therefore a
company can include some characteristics of the product, which are not even inclusive just to
influence the consumers (Freeman et.al, 36).
The most food business in recent times has realized that most consumers prefer food
products with fewer calories and fats for their healthy lifestyle, this has a been a significant
advertising point among many food companies in order to influence consumer decisions even
though it is not quite clear if these claims have been significantly verified by the food and drug
