Hai I want two REPLAYS for each discussion board for the following DISCUSSION BOARD QUESTION After watching the video, Modern Disaster Recovery Workshop: Developing an IT Disaster Recovery Plan, each student will create their own thread discussing at least three concepts presented in or that you learned from the video. Following are two discussion boards I want two replays for each discussion board DISCUSSION BOARD-1 This week the discussion is about Disaster Recovery plan and its role in enterprise to keep the business and systems fully functional with less or zero lag time. Three pointers for discussion are • • • Need of Disaster recovery Disaster recovery traditional approaches Cloud – Disaster recovery Disaster recovery is important as it plan for any organization to consider in event of a disaster and its effect on the business systems and processes. Disaster recovery enables to ensure that the system availability and usage is not effected as it drives by the help of backup in event of any disaster. These days, disaster recovery is strategic move for organization effective performance as well as management push to handle emergency situations in the event of disaster as the effect of disaster can be serious to the business. Risk assessment is an important activity to be taken place for a successful disaster recovery process. There are many traditional disaster recovery approaches in place which seems to be ineffective, examples are hot site, cold site and warm site which has backup of the relevant information which can be used to keep the system up. There are some problems associated with these disaster recovery backups as it sometimes takes time for the backup to be in place or even might face some difficulty to do it on time. Third aspect of the discussion is using cloud for disaster recovery. These days as everyone are moving towards cloud, it is important to consider how cloud computing can impact disaster recovery. Cloud disaster recovery can eliminate storage disks, any offsite and improves scalability and cost effective solution. A small incident in the organization where vulnerability or a breach can crash all the sensitive data of the organization and effects functioning of the businesses. Today I am going to discuss about the Disaster Recovery and its related aspects in the modern IT and business environment. Basically, disaster recovery is the ability of an organization to recovery the data of the organization from any incidents or disasters. When some disasters occur our organization should be ready to face that and safeguard the data. With the growing technology and the advancements in the businesses we need to make the necessary action strategies for the incidents that we need to protect the data of the organization. Developing A Cloud Storage: This would align the organization to get benefitted by the decision. We also need to framework and innovate and experiment all the case to trouble shoots for the vulnerabilities (Donoghue, 2014). Modernizing Legacy Applications: Legacy applications need to be replaced with the modern application by integrating with the cloud to reduce the costs of the organization and at the same time. Before migrating from legacy to the cloud the IT administrators should understand the complexities in the system and mange them well during the process of migration (TargetTech, 2017). Back up Recovery and Security: In order to ensure that data is not lost, an organization should ensure that it does database backups regularly. This will ensure that each and every data even the latest one can be recovered at any moment if at all a disaster occurs safeguarded. Disaster Planning Types: 1) Preventive measures, 2) Detective measures, 3) Corrective measures Priorities for IT recovery should be reliable with the priorities for recovery of business processes and functions that needs to be run 24/7 no matter whatever the situations. IT professionals required to support time-sensitive business functions and processes should also be identified (TargetTech, 2017). References: Donoghue, K. (2014, May 27). Discussion board one

It is the responsibility of every organization to have a well-organized disaster recovery
plan but in place. This is because the plan helps the organization to keep running even when the
disaster strikes as there are mechanism set in place to cater for the challenges which might come
in. with a well management disaster recovery system in place; it tends to be easy for the
organization to tackle emergency issues which might arise.

Different disaster recovery approaches have been in use for a long time. The use of hot
site, cold site, and warm site as recovery methods comes with challenges as stated in the
discussion. This is because it ...
