Description

Part 1:

The training manager at a local tech support company needs to develop an introductory training class for an incoming group of tech support personnel. The incoming class has very little familiarity with information technology, networking terminology, and process solutions. By the end of this training, the class needs to be far more advanced in networking knowledge, and terminology, to support an audience of novice users. The training manager would like you to develop a part of the content framework to be used in the early stages of the training program. Develop a training manual that includes the major characteristics of various systems monitoring solutions.

The key to writing a successful paper on a selected topic relates to your ability to research credible sources and organize the information accordingly. When writing your paper, remember all references must be in APA style and from credible academic resources, including peer-reviewed industry trade publications or articles from the SNHU Shapiro Library database system.

PART 2;

Many project closure activities are often overlooked in projects of all sizes. Read the article IT Project Closure from Risk Management magazine. Depending on your system and its status, certain project closure considerations may require more in-depth detail. Prepare a one-page response that expands on a critical IT project closure consideration of your choosing that was mentioned in the article.

Discuss how the measures you took to ensure your project closure efforts during these remaining weeks of the course will ensure a thorough and effective project closure.

Ensuring the appropriate steps are taken to guarantee adequate project closure is critical. The various sections of the project closure document you have

prepared for this class cover what is required to ensure the system is turned over properly and will continue to operate as designed. You may have also taken

additional steps or measures specific to the type of system you have implemented.

Read the article IT Project Closure from Risk Management magazine. The project discussed was a six-month legacy system migration to a web-based

environment for an insurance claims sponsor. The article details how the project’s overall success was partly due to ensuring special considerations were taken

during project closure. Summarize and discuss the importance of the project closure activities you performed and how they will contribute to the overall success

of your project. Elaborate on the importance of one of the IT project closure considerations or activities mentioned in the article or another of your choosing.

Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:

? Summarize the project closure activities and considerations performed.

? Elaborate on the importance of one of the IT project closure considerations or activities mentioned in the article or another of your choosing.

PURPOSE OF THE MANUAL.
This manual is intended to introduce all incoming Tech support personnel to the basics of
information technology, networking, and process solutions. The manual comprises objectives,
the organization’s culture and demographics, the tools used during the learning process, training
materials, assessment, and the major characteristics of system monitoring solutions such as
natural scalability.
OBJECTIVES.

To familiarize incoming tech support personnel with information technology, networking
terminologies, and process solutions.

To expound on the major characteristics of various systems monitoring solutions.

THE ORGANIZATION’S CULTURE AND DEMOGRAPHICS
Considering that this is a tech company and that most of the members of the incoming class are
not well conversant with information technology, networking terminologies, and process
solutions, we are going to begin by teaching the basics of these three areas. With time, we are
going to progress and learn the major characteristics of various systems monitoring solutions. At
the end of the training session, it is expected that the class will be more advanced in networking
knowledge and terminology to support an audience of novice users.
TOOLS TO BE USED DURING THE LEARNING PROCESS
Most of the learning process will be theoretical and will be conveyed through a PowerPoint
presentation. As defined above, th...
