Individuality and Community
Individuality s the trait of an individual that creates a difference between his or her and other
people of a similar kind. Community, on the other hand, refers to a social group where the members
reside in a particular area. Community members share historical heritage and culture. Individuality and
community are two items that work together, for a community to be formed people of similar traits must
come together since they easily identify with them. However from the many people who live in a given
locality each person has a unique character which distinguishes him or from the rest of the members. The
paper will explore the relationship that exists between individuality and community.
The relationship that exists between individuality and the community is a fundamental political
problem. There is a crisis of human values lurking in these relations, including liberty and justice. The

The relationship that exists between individuality and community stretches beyond share traits; it
goes deep down to values and interests. The understanding of both values is the center of conflicts in the
two issues. The functioning of the community values is automatic through natural means. However, it is
unfair to lower the scope of human activity, with the sole aim of depriving the community of its potential
spiritual action (James and Alan 44). The community is a free entity; therefore, many factors can come
into play when deciding key issues. Deciding on the discussion of freedom without referring to the basic
purpose of life leads to economic ends. It is vital to understand that the economics of life vary
significantly between an individual and community. The economics of life for the two relies on the
principle of necessity for regulation.
Looking at the principle from an in-depth position, it reveals that an individual will be most likely
