(x2-5x+6) = (x2-2x-3x-6)= x(x-2)-3(x-2) = (x-2)(x-3) This is continuous over the interval (-5,5) though the function becomes 0 at x=2 or x=3. But the function is quadratic function and so is continuous

F(x) =1/x+3 is continuous at all points other than 0 . At 0 the function is not defined. Left limit is –infinity and right limit is +infinity
