There is a considerable perception of tension between the science and religion, which
according to my observation; science does not appear to pay respect to the spirituality, faith, and
religion at large. Science tends to focus more on the factual provisions while religion, on the
other hand, involves revelation, faith, and sacredness. Both the science and religion are
somewhat complex social and cultural endeavors that change across many cultures and over
time. According to Gualdani & Pegoli (2014), the historical tension between evolution and
religion is intrinsic o the incompatibility between the scientific provisions and the beliefs in the
Supreme causation.
The perceptions on the evolution and the levels of religiosity alongside the presence of
various articles and books with explanations on the reconciliation between evolution and
religion, there is a revelation that individuals have a significant trouble in believing in both
