Picot statement
A PICOT refers to a method of analyzing the essential contents and finding relevant
information, especially in medical research.
P (population):
The population in of interest in this context of medical nurses in the field and operating.
In this case, it represents the 237 nurses selected to be the sample population for the research.
Since the nurses represent the causes of the medical errors in the field, they are considered in this
research. They are the ones making the errors being found in this study thereby being the
population of interest in this investigation.
I (issue of importance):
The problem of interest in this context is the reason behind the medical errors made by
the nurses. Since the errors are already in the context and are being made, the issue of
consideration and interest are the causes of the errors and the repercussions they have on the
various patients who happen to be victims.
C (comparison intervention):
This step involves the identification of the contributing factor to the medical errors made
by the different nurses. The contributing factor should originate from the environment, work, the
patients, and the work stress.
O (outcome of the interest):

Introduction
The research question in this context was carried out to explain the cause and reasons for
