Policy Change Model.
Policy change is a significant change in principle or attitude or perspective. Health policies
can be changed by the process of legislature. The McKinsey 7S model is significant for the
policy change in the organization as it puts into consideration of the seven factors of strategic fit
which is a highly effective method.
The McKinsey 7S model refers to a model that evaluates a healthcare facility's
organizational design and structure. The main objective of applying the McKinsey 7S model in
policy change is to depict the way effects can be attained in the healthcare organization through
the associations of the seven primary elements which are structure, strategy, skill, system, shared
values, style, and staff (Gechkova and Kaleeva, 2020). The McKinsey 7S model is a model of
organizational capability as the seven aspects within the healthcare facility will require to
collaborate and harmonize with one another and point towards a similar direction because if each
dimension supports the other the advanced hospital policy can be identified as effective and
capable. The consideration of all of the seven aspects will characterize some of the significant
questions that the healthcare facility has to address as it considers the implications of trying to
become a national player within the managed healthcare sector.
