Question Description

There are two cars, both with a mass of 3000kg. The speed of one car is 20m/s the speed of the other is 30m/s. They collide and stick together, so they move with a common speed.

Calculate the velocities after the collisions. (Hint, what is the difference between speed and velocity?)

What is the amount of kinetic energy lost in the collisions?

I know the answer, but i don't know how to write "Calculate the velocities after the collisions." Pls help me, Thnx
