to take caution in order to determine and eliminate medical identity theft. To detect a medical
identity theft, an individual’s personal medical documents and transactions may be used. For
example, a person may be billed with a medical bill when he has not received any medical
services from the hospital. This is an indicator that unauthorized persons have used and accessed
your insurance cover medical plan. It is, therefore, necessary that an individual does a frequent
check-up on his medical information to determine any deviation (Goodridge, 2009). The
