Background information
Environmental justice entails the fare treatment and involvement of people in developing,
implementing and enforcing environmental policies, laws, and regulations irrespective of their
race, color and their origin (Walker and Gordon, 57).
Air pollution involves the release of pollutants such carbon dioxide such that the
pollutants becomes detrimental to the health of human beings and the whole planet (San Joaquin
Valley Air Pollution Control District,37).
Renewable resources are all resources that are naturally regenerated by the environment
within relatively short periods. Thus, such resources become into existence once again after they
have been utilized. Such resources include solar, wind energy amongst others (McMullan, John,
Morgan, and Murray, 23).
Non-renewable resources, on the other hand, are resources that are not naturally
