FSM 2065 Food and Beverage in the Hospitality Industry Assignment #3: Sustainable practices Project Description: Students will investigate the current issues in the food industry and develop an effective plan that the hospitality industry/food tourism industry can use to combat some of the negative consequences of the modern-day food industry. Project Objective: Students will be able to evaluate the current food issues of our day and apply that knowledge to creating sustainable practices in the hospitality industry. Project Directions: Students will research and analyze the current issues of our food industry in the 21st century and come up with at least 3 sustainable practices that the hospitality industry (hotel, restaurant or food tourism) can utilize in their everyday practices in the form of an industry proposal. as the hospitality industry in general. There are many hotels that rely highly on the environment
itself like snow, oceans, lakes and even mountains. The climate change has huge effects in
