Organizational culture infers to a set of collective beliefs, principles and beliefs of
members within an organization inclusive of factors of productivity. The factors of productivity
as featured in organizational culture are market, product and strategy, type of employees,
national culture, management style, and history. With a view of respecting the above virtues,
below are the cultural characteristics of an organization I ones worked for based on detailorientation, team-orientation, innovation, aggression, outcome-orientation, and peopleorientation.
With regards to detail orientation, the organization was based around precision and
attention to details. This gave the organization a competitive edge over other companies within
the same industry. Likewise, the information obtained as a result of this characteristic helped to
offer better services to customers. This is given by the fact that most of the information was
stored in an online database which heavily influenced the decision making process. As well, the
company was organized around a cooperative and collaborative taskforce. This is through
