c. If 8.00 moles of magnesium chloride react with enough aluminum, how many moles

of aluminum chloride are produced?(Show your work)

d. How many moles of magnesium chloride are needed to with 10.00 moles of

aluminum?

the ratio of magnesium chloride to the produced aluminium chloride is 3:2

hence if 3 is to 8 moles, then

moles of AlCl = (2*8)/3 = 5.33 moles

d. moles of MgCl =(3*10) / 2 = 15 moles
