1st draft Chasing dreams I had a dream since I was young, and my dream was to be a pilot. I grew up with my dream day by day and I knew that my dream won’t come easily, and I must study hard and sacrifice to achieve it. I had to face many things like being away from my family and friends, convince my family to be a pilot and start a new life being independent. Every time I get in an airplane, I had feels that would made me abandon the difficulties and keep working on it. After graduating from high school, the real challenge started which is applying for the aviation program which had a long process. I started telling my family and try to convince them to be a pilot and fly away from home instead of being a medicine student as my brothers. I love aviation and I want to be different from my brothers. In the end I convinced them, and they supported me to chase my dream. Unfortunately, I was shocked when I recognized that the aviation program admission will take longer than I expect due to the process exams, steps, and interviews to be admitted. The problem was that there is no guarantee to have the admission and you can’t gamble on staying without applying for a plan B. I applied in a university back home and I studied engineering for a year and a half through the aviation program application and after one year and half I got the admission to be one of the students will study aviation. I was happy; I told my family and I start preparing myself to say goodbye to home which is not easy to be away from family and friends. I have arrived at US in January,2020 and I chose to be in Florida because the have the best aviation schools, nice beaches, nice weather, and nice people. I grew up in a coastal city so I would love to go to a place like Florida. I started on the language institute of UF in Gainesville and I started new relations there. I was happy and then the pandemic started so we had to switch to online classes and being quarantined. It was rough days being quarantined for a long period of time without family and friends, specially I was living alone. I finished the summer semester online and I applied for a FIT university in fall semester but unfortunately most of the courses was online. My first flight was in October, 2021 and in this date I started my new addiction which is flying in the sky. I really loved flying and loved the knowledge I was taking. Aviation is one of the most beautiful majors that you attend to. (complete writing about aviation here) One day my sponsor asked me to transfer to another school because of the congestion on the flight line of the university. It was a really hard to move after you created a relations and started flying. I was searching and I found the best option is JU university (complete this part) Do a conclusion here.

Chasing dreams

had fantasized about this aspiration every day but I had always known that making it a reality
wouldn’t be an easy task. Even then I had known that hard work and sacrifice were going to be
necessary. This path I have taken to reach my goal is filled with adversity. I’ve had to endure
homesickness aggravated by being away from family and friends. Additionally, my family also
needed convincing. Wanting to be a pilot meant starting a new independent life as it was a
mandatory step; I needed their blessing. But all these problems fade away every time I sit in that
pilot seat. Simply being at the controls gives me the strength to fight through all these trials and
fills me with enough emotion to carry on.
The challenge started after graduating from high school. My first step was to find the
right aviation program that suited me. The length of the process was not as easy as I had first
imagined. To begin, I had to win the battle of convincing my family. The task was difficult
considering they wanted me to study medicine like my brothers. The substantial difference
