Aluminum has a density of 2.70 g/mL. Calculate the mass (in grams) of a piece of aluminum having a volume of 389mL

 .

The density (D) of aluminum is 2.7 g/mL

m = V x D = 389 mL x 2.7 g/mL = 1050.3 grams

Please note : you did not indicate the units for volume - mL or L...

I brought it to mL, so in case if it L, then number will be 1050.3 x 10^3 grams
