If light travels at a speed of 3.0 x 10 to the 8th power meters/seconds, how long is a lightyear in meters

How to convert 22 parsecs to lightyears if 1 pc = 3.26 ly

and 20/meters/second to mph

and 1 kilogram/meter to 3rd power to grams/cm to 3rd power

Sep 25th, 2017

If light travel 3×10^8 mtrs / sec So 1 light year = 31556926 seconds So 1 light year = 3 × 10 ^ 8× 31556926 mtrs = 94,670,778 × 10 ^ 8 mtrs

2. 1 pc = 3.26 light years so 22 pc = 22 × 3.26=71.72 ly

3. 20 mtrs / sec = 20 × 18 / 5 km / hr = 72 km / hr so 72 km = 72000 mtrs

So 20 mtrs / sec = 72000 mtrs / hr

4. 1 kg / metre = 1000 gm / 100 cm =10000 gm/1000 cm
