Find the slope of the line having equation 3x – 4y = 8.

Jan 24th, 2015

you have to rewrite the equation is y=mx+c form where m is the slope

3x – 4y = 8.
-4y = -3x +8
y=(-3x+8)/-4
y=3/4 * x - 2

so, slope = 3/4
