Introduction
Decision making is an integral part of one’s day to day life. This is because one is
required to make decisions about his or her life, decisions about job execution and decisions
about group performance each day to ensure that one is headed in the right direction.
Decision making is also a core aspect that differentiates good and bad leaders, making it a
vital skill to acquire and perfect (Goleman, 2011). In this regard, knowing one’s strengths,
weaknesses and position in regard to personality, motivation, decision making,
communication abilities and emotional intelligence is crucial in developing self towards
