Standards for Moral Conduct in Criminal Justice
Introduction
The department of justice systems includes federal executive department, interior
ministries, Federal Bureau of Investigation and United States Attorney. Law and order served to
the community create peace and prosperity. The department of justice administers standards for
moral conduct for its employees and the society with specific aims to reputation. Ethical theories
exist to work scenarios for the dispensation of justice. The paper discusses ethical beliefs and
moral requirements for employees in the criminal justice department.

Judge
My line of work is a judge. A comprehensive job description in the criminal justice
department for judges is detailed based on how they deliver cases. For law interpretation in the
society, judges are called upon to give their wise decision which will be used as a way forward
in the dispensation of service to citizens. Cases presented in courts must have evidence brought
forward by the investigation team. Judges are expected to be impartial in pursuit of justice. A
judge imposes a penalty on the society that respects the rule of law. Once a conviction is certain
in a civil case the judges assess the damage of the plaintiff and any other redress (Frey &
Osborne, 2017). Damage assessment might be carried out be a different party appointed by the
court through the judge. Evidence presented the judge determines credibility test in a court of
law. During an appeal to a jury, the judge becomes a legal advisor to cases to explain the law to

the jurors. Judges ensure judicial proceedings are dealt with highest professional standards
(Baker, 2016).

cases must have prior intelligence so that the right information is presented in court. The Federal
Bureau of Investigation assists in apprehending criminals who are free. Resources effectively
utilized provide employees with the department time efficiency to present the cases in court.
Delay might be eminent to cases that the accused is in a hideout, but through intelligence and
