The radius of a iron atom is 124 pm. How many iron atoms would have to be laid side by side to span a distance of 1.75 mm?

124pm=124x10^-12 m

1.75mm=1.75x10^-3m

So 1.75mm/(2x124pm)=1.75x10^-3m/(2x124x10^-12 m)
