Numerous researchers show that religion is a contributing factor to the Organizational
Citizenship Behavior. Employees who have internal religiosity are most likely to contribute to
OCB positively while external religiosity has mostly negative effects. Religion, in general, has
huge effects on the groups as a whole (Ahmadi et al., 2014). Another contributing factor is
employee preferences, they include values and interests of individual employees. Interested
employees are quick to learn in the organization and can contribute positively easily (Lemmon &
Wayne, 2015).
The following work dysfunctions and mental disorders are costly to the organization,
team or group: the general depression which will occur due to the team, group or organization
having very less to believe in. in some circumstances, the executive management completely
fails to generate and uphold any mode of empathic interaction with the higher authorities and
organizer. Sensing abandonment and vulnerability, the front line individuals descend into a mode
of low morale, discouragement and reduced commitment (Clark et al., 2016).
