3x + 2y = -15  2x =  -18

Nov 20th, 2017

3x + 2y = -15

2x = -18

x = -18/2 = -9

subtitute ( x = 9 ) into 3x + 2y = -15

3x + 2y = -15

(3*9) + 2y = -15

27 + 2y = -15

2y = -15 - 27

2y = - 42

y = -21

The answer is x = 9 , y = -21
