First, worthiness can relates to objects or it can relate to people.
Let us consider worthiness of objects. Usually objects worthiness is measured by their value . It means that you have to consider if the price is worth the value it offers. For example, a dress may cost few thousand dollars. Then one has to decide if the dress offers that much value for the money. Is it really going to be useful or last for a long time?
Now, we will evaluate worthiness of persons. Worthiness of a person depends on his/her character. If a person values ethics and morals highly, then he/she is worthy. In contrast, a person who steals and lies is not a worthy person.
