1. Summary
The president issued an executive order no 13769 on the 27th of January 2017 about ban
on immigration. the president stated that the ban of immigration will protect the United States
citizens against foreign terrorism entering as illegal immigrants. He referred to the attack that
happened in September 11, 2001 and states that many foreign born people have been implicated
in the terrorism related crimes (Borjas, 2014). Therefore, the executive order was to make sure that
the people who will be admitted in the United States do not have violent attitudes. He added people

The second part of the executive order was to spend the refugee admissions for 120 days.
He later stated that when the refugee program is resumed the secretary of the State should priotize

Thirdly, the order suspended the entry of Syrian refugees indefinitely. The order was put in action
immediately and the report states that there were many changes that took place whereby the more
than hundred visas of the travelers were cancelled. Those who had already arrived were denied
entry more badly some were detained. After three days, the State of Washington went to court to
challenge the orders in section 3(c), 5(e), and 5(a)-5(c) of the executive order (Massey & Espinosa,
