System Integration Completion
System Integration Testing
SIT (System Integration Testing) refers to the procedure involving testing of several
elements of the integrated hardware and software to evaluate their behaviors and characteristics
of the entire system. At the outset system integration procedure a new system must meet some
required standards. Regarding this, before accepting new system and putting it into practice it is
important to ensure that it abides by required standards. Mainly, the tests are conducted to
confirm the interferences several software modules are in sync. It helps in detecting mistakes in
early stage it's also forms background for strategic decision making (Valacich et al., 2015).
Google Project Inc., SIT activities requires both hardware and software integration.
Regarding this, it tests the system to detect errors that may come up from interfaces. Since the
procedure applied contains various approaches, the chances are that the interfaces may not
complement one another. Accordingly the compatibility of interfaces tested is substantial interest
in the process. Furthermore, the test must essentially focus on information bus contention. It
should ensure that there are no components of contention issues with information bus that has the
possibility to derail the whole system (Valacich et al., 2015). Lastly, the test will determine loads
of input to verify whether it can securely handle the information loads that flow via it. In addition
to this, it verifies the powe...
