Introduction

For this security proposal, we address the issue of information and internet security of
Verizon Communication; a company that deals with IT products. The company provides with IT
services in the entire world. The company also uses information technology in all its operation.
It utilizes the availability of computers, stockpiling, and organization physical gadgets and trades
all type telecommunication information (Frenzel, 2004). The company uses physical equipment,
working system, and virtualization to perform essential functions. The company has a mission to
help people and business communicate with each other. Verizon deals with cell phones,
smartphones, and software. On the other hand, Verizon has a technical resource like data about
their clients, operating machines, capital and time (Verizon, 2011). The most precious technical
resources are people, and without them, an organization cannot execute its functions. The
company must meet itscustomers’ demands every day, and for this to happen, it has to come up
with IT strategy. With this in mind, the company has acquired complex IT infrastructure to meet
the rising demand for telecommunication services.
Verizon deals with enormous information from clients, stakeholders, and employees. It
preserves the track of investors, analyzes cash flow and process payrolls. The company interacts
with it employees at the business level to achieve firm's objectives. About this, the company
shareholder holds a meeting every year to analyze and recommend business performance and
performance to accomplish company's goals and objectives. Verizon Company provides goods
and services to the client on time and meets all requirements of stakeholders. One of the
principle obligations of Verizon Corporation top management is to set objectives and goals
