Legal Rights and Distributive Justice Ethics Day 1: Legal Rights Freedom is a way of offering the people of a republic a choice of selection. However, freedom is explained in two broad categories. The categories are the freedom of speech and expression. The suggestions of the people and giving of speech to air views is guaranteed to anyone considered that it is delivered or done in a proper manner. The right to freedom got my interest because many of the people from the remote areas worship the elected leaders and allow them to manipulate them forgetting they gave them power through elections. It is a fair deal for people to raise voices and put their opinions in public for solutions to be found. Day 2: An outdated law Women are not allowed on top in some of the communities in America. They believe associated with the normal mating of animals. The act of fertilization is all the same, and the difference comes in the parties involved. For example, the act of doing sex is no any difference from when horses are mating. Hence, the male species should be on top and not the female. However, the idea was copied and brought into practice by the people of Massachusetts (Quinn, 2017). Apart from the act of sex, the men are always the heads of families and rulers of nations. The powers given to the male species should make them take the top positions and women to be under men’s control. Day 3: Distributive Justice Equality is the ideology of distributing resources and other services in a fair and just manner. The resources found in various regions are not evenly distributed hence the allocation of such is done under a fair consideration of the needs. Equality brings the idea of justice and fairness to the community. When the people are allowed and given the opportunity to work and accumulate wealth, the efforts applied are rewarded and the richness of a person respected. However, the accumulation of such resources has to be done in an acceptable manner (Graf, William, et al. 2017). For example, a person who owns properties from the investment of the savings from salary is said to have played equitably in the society.
