Enterprise Architecture Framework Research Paper Assignment Purpose of this Assignment This assignment gives you the opportunity to apply your research skills, analysis, and critical thinking skills to describe one of the enterprise architecture (EA) frameworks. This will provide you an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of one of the frameworks commonly used. This assignment specifically addresses the following course outcomes: • • describe enterprise architecture (EA), the appropriate application of EA frameworks, and an overall ongoing EA program analyze and examine how enterprise architecture and enterprise systems influence, support, and enable an organization's ability to contribute to strategic decision making and to respond and adapt to the business environment Assignment Select one of the enterprise architecture frameworks listed below: • • • • • Zachman Framework The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF) DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF) Treasury Enterprise Architecture Framework (TEAF) Research and write a paper that describes the chosen framework. Your description will include: • • • • • • Beginning paragraph to introduce the selected framework Framework’s purpose, scope, principles, and the kinds of structures it uses, as appropriate to the framework. Your paper will be graded on both the accuracy and completeness of your description. Please be mindful of how you research and provide on-line sources. Refer to UMUC’s policy on plagiarism especially as it pertains to unauthorized student resources. Your paper should be 3-5 pages in length (not counting any cover sheet or reference pages). The use of at least three external scholarly resources (other than class materials) is required. (NOTE: More than three external resources are required to receive all possible points; see Grading Rubric below.) You should use scholarly journals (rather than Wikipedia and authorless website postings). Enterprise Architecture Framework
    Introduction
The development from product architecture to enterprise architecture is more efficient.
The information age was characterized by increasing complexity in the enterprise (Gerber et al.,
2020). Zachman framework is a formal and structured way to view and define from a corporate
perspective. Generally, the framework is two-dimensional that reflects the relationship between
two historical classifications. Typically, the framework provided a way to combine architectural
terms with the essential parts of application systems, data, processes, and networks. Before the
introduction of the Zachman Framework, system development was carried out in several stages.
It has provided a new way to define these steps by organizing them from the perspective of
different actors. The framework divides the enterprise structure into rows and columns. The line
represents the perspectives of various participants in the system development process.
    Purpose
The Zachman Framework gives an approach to characterize an association's design. It's a
proactive business device that you can use to show your association's current provisions,
components, and cycles to assist you with overseeing a change in your business. This idea
depends on Zackman's experience leading complex item changes. John Zackman underlines that
the design can reach out past the data engineering to the whole undertaking design (Gerber et al.,
2020). This framework provides a structured way for companies to acquire essential skills in
enterprise architecture. Provides a logical structure to classify and organize descriptive diagrams
of your company. Each dimension can be viewed from different angles. It gives a complete
classification of companies but has no added value. There are no sudden changes in the factory.

When it comes to security, the decisions made by the owner affect all safety within the
    enterprise.
Given that the Zachman Framework has endured the challenges of time, John A.
Zachman knew that it could change and adapt over time, much like a framework that is currently
adapting to the needs of its users. The history of t...
