Should regulations regarding the use of cell phones while driving be standardized? This
is a very relevant question considering the number of accidents reported that have been caused
by the use of the cell phone while driving. Is a life worth less than catching up with that friend,
letting your boss know that you closed the deal and the like. Cell phone usage in a car should
only be allowed when necessary and on matters of utmost importance. The laws concerning this
are different in the different states but the consequences that come abut from the use are very
similar and the story is always the same. The standardizing of the laws should be done so that
they can help in reducing the number of cases of cell phone usage while driving, there is a lot
more that can be done to improve the state of things.
