A line passes through point (-1,4) and has a slope of 5. Write an equation for this line.

Feb 1st, 2015

the slope m = 5
point (x1,y1) = (-1,4)

equation is given by y-y1= m(x-x1)

y-4 = 5(x-(-1))
y-4=5x + 5
y-5x = 9, this is the required equations.

Please appreciate my help, by selecting my answer as the best, and add me as your tutor, Thanks!
