Diversity is a very important element of our lives. An inclusive community for all, for
instance gives people a sense of belonging. Without the diversity element of culture then the
beauty we see around us would not have been there. Culture, values and ethics are the primary
agents of socialization (Hunt, 110); and in a self-reflective manner, the life and a person I have
become are based on my primary socialization. People should accept who they are and learn to
respect the other cultures around them. Indeed, when I look at the other cultures around me, I see
beauty and ethically upright cultural practices.
