A felony is a serious crime that is punishable by death or imprisonment for a period of
more than one year. Felony cases are handled differently by the courts and prosecutors than
misdemeanor cases. Felonies are divided according to their seriousness and according to the
punishment that the felony may attract. Some of the classification classes include; murder,
kidnapping, rape, selling illegal drugs, arson, and theft. In my opinion, I agree with the court's
