The strategic planning process is a process that all organizations go through and it is
usually a process that is meant to help the organization to create a plan that will help them
achieve their overall long term goals. In the strategic planning process the company has to look
at the environment that they are currently in. this will involve looking at their current state in the
market both externally and internally. This will help them look then at where they wat to be or
what they want to achieve. Hey will then come up with objectives and strategies of how they will
get to where they want to get to as an organization. These are now the strategic plans that they
will follow for the time stipulated; depending on what it will be, the business will come up with
long term and short term goals through the strategic planning process. They will then implement
them in order to achieve them (Schilder, 1997).
