A sample of carbon dioxide at 22.0*C has a volume of 250.0 mL and pressure of 752.7 torr. Calculate the moles of carbon dioxide. Note: to use the ideal gas law, the temperature must be in Kelvin.

Please note that you have to apply this formula:

n = (P*V)/(R*T) =(0.99 *250 *10^-3) / (0.08206 *295), since the pressure is 752.7/760= 0.99 atm and the temperature is T = 22+273 = 295. So we get:

n= 0.0102 mol of CO2
