The film the big short can be traced to the US government’s idea to have American own
their own homes for financial security. The brilliant idea did not, however, explain the detail of
mortgages processes to the public. In this situation, mortgages were approved for buyers who
would not sustain the payments to completion. Banks then changed and sold the mortgages that
were not fully paid leading to many Americans facing social problems. Arguably, one can
