a.  15/sin50 = 18/sinB

sinB = 18sin50 / 15 = 0.919

B = arcsin(0.919) = 66.82 degrees

C = 180 - 50 - 66.82 = 63.18 degrees

c/sin63.18 = 15/sin50

c = 15sin63.18 / sin50 = 17.48


b.  14/sin60 = 18/sinB

sinB= 18sin60 / 14 = 1.11   CAN'T BE because sine of any angle cannot be greater than 1

Therefore, can't be a triangle
