High-quality hospitality behavior when interwove throughout an organization, beginning at the uppermost level displayed to all team members, will then drive team members to then exude high-quality hospitality to their guests. Team members will enjoy reporting to work and are more likely to perform tasks beyond what is expected; leading to the guest receiving an exceptional customized experience. Getting to know the guest and taking note of their likes not often seen in every workplace will make them feel special. This experience conveys an enduring impression with subsequent return visits from the guest as well as the guest notifying family and friends, thereby increasing patrons and revenue to the organization. Food and beverage managers will delight in this financial increase, as well as the return on investment into their team members first and then guests second. And to follow the rules for discussion forums. ===================In this Ted Talk by Alexander Wagner, he states that it will be better and safer in the long run to hire those people who have higher integrity and ethics. He describes motivation can be a stronger incentive than any incentive businesses could create. I agree with his end conclusion, and integrity over selfish desires plays a big hand in the hospitality industry. One of the unethical examples I can think of for purchasing is backdoor selling. Although it's a small example, if I was a purchaser and was bypassed by a seller, that would be a big red flag. A seller would break my trust by that, and I wouldn't be comfortable purchasing products from them.
