The Digestive System discussion
ASSESSMENTDid you know it takes at least six hours for food to get to the end of your small intestine, and then it takes an average of 40 hours for food to make it through your large intestine? That means the food you eat today is still with you tomorrow, and the day after that.In this assessment, you will journal the hourly life of a fatty acid or a sugar molecule as it makes its final voyage through the digestive tract. You only need to journal the first seven hours of the digestive passage. This means you should have a total of seven journal entries. Your journal entries should be creative and include descriptions of all the alimentary and accessory organs, including their secretions. You should also mention which type of digestion is happening in each organ and include the nervous or endocrine system controls that affect the digestion of your molecule. Remember, a fatty acid and a sugar molecule are digested and absorbed in a slightly different way. Be sure your journal covers the correct voyage for the molecule you choose.

Directions to describe how this unit project is a test intended to encompass, homework help
Directions to describe how this unit project is a test intended to encompass all that they have learned about chemicals and chemical reactions in the unit.PART AFollow the example of sodium chloride as you fill out this table. Using the information given, fill in the empty columns.PART BActivity series are prepared by comparing single-displacement reactions between metals. Based on observations, the metals can be ranked by their ability to react. However, reactivity can be explained by the ease with which atoms of metals lose electrons. Using information from the activity series, identify the locations in the periodic table of the most reactive metals and the least reactive metals. Using your knowledge of electron configurations and periodic trends, infer possible explanations for the metals’ reactivity and position in the periodic table.PART CWrite two of your own sample problems that are descriptions of how to solve a mass-mass problem. Assume that your sample problems will be used by other students to learn how to solve mass-mass problems. Include the problem, the step-by-step process to solve the problem, and the solution."Make sure to show your work and use the correct amount of significant figures.
