For weeks 10-12, you'll be working on a case study based on all of the material you've been learning this term.View the case study presentation (you can download the PowerPoint file attached above).
Create a Business Plan* with your recommendations on the University using Cloud Services. Your report should include the following areas:
- Summary of the case
- A list of business requirements that potentially can benefit from available cloud services. This is based on the information from the case study. There should be a brief explanation for each item on the list.
- A list of administrative processes that have the potential to be moved to a cloud service provider. The administrative side includes many processes similar to most organizations. Here’s a couple of questions to get you started:
- What are the different departments identified?
- Do any need specialized software?
- Do they each need a separate data store?
- Your recommendations
Fully explain your answer and provide specific examples for each. Your Business Plan will be a Word or PDF file. Submit your report using the week 10 assignment link.

Problem Statement
The data collection and analysis process for the university would need advancement as
the university grows with time
. Using the statistical information that the increasing memory requirements of the university,
it is necessary to roll out a business plan that would help the data collection and analysis
process (Stark, 2015).
It is notable that data management system as well as CRM would expand by a margin pf
20 % every year and that calls the management and the information technology
department to devise mechanisms to get prepared for the changes and advancements
in the operation requirements of the university.
The business plan undertaking, therefore, aims to come up with precise mechanisms that
would see the data handling activities move with ease and efficiency and to ensure
security (Davenport, 2013).
He main focus of this discourse is to delve into the various elements of the business plan
implementation process such as the scope, how to control it and the specifics of systems
integration for optimum operation of the university’s business plan
Scope
The business plan scope entails creating a system of data handling capabilities
to help the university in the process of collecting, amassing and analysis of large
data amounts without deficiency (Stark, 2015).
The timeline for such an implementation stands at a deadline of 3 months which
implies that the development of the essential system should be complete by
January 2017.
Cloud storage facility devices would include a series of magnetic and solid
state disks that would get arranged on the memory arrangement racks. In the
project, the recommendations maintain that the most modern storage
technologies get implemented so that to ensure effectiveness in the integration
with the logical components of the data management system of the university
(Kerzner, 2013).
Scope
The business plan scope would also focus on inculcating the modern virtual
storage technology such as cloud storage facilities offered by other data
services provision university's. The development team for the data storage
systems has the mandate to make modifications to the business plan scope as
they deem appropriate but such alterations need to find the approval of the
business plan committee (Stark, 2015).
With such changes in the initial scope, there would need to establish new
reasonable completion deadlines for the entire data collection and harbouring
system for the company.
One of the key aspects to ensure is to avoid the possibility of a scope creep.
That would cause the business plan development process to get irrelevant and
take a direction such as never intended by the development team

The management team in charge if the business plan also needs to
establish robust mechanisms to control the budget elements of the
projects.
They need to work hand in hand with the technical implementation team
