Assignment Steps

Resources: Bureau of Labor Statistics. Here is the following web link https://www.bls.gov/

Create a 1,400 word analysis (excluding cover and reference page words) addressing the following:

  • Introduction
  • Identify one theory that appeals to you the most from the leadership theories discussed in your powerpoint assignment and in the text.(For this one, I was wanting to choose Transformational Leadership Theory since it seems like a theory where leaders can pay close attention to the needs and want of their people, for my understanding).
  • Research two local companies, one in which the leadership seems to exemplify this leadership theory, and one that seems to be in direct contrast (Having trouble in picking two companies that would exemplify my chosen leadership theory above).
  • Analyze how each leadership style might affect the respective company's performance and alignment to values (For this one, I was thinking the five leadership styles that I chose to work on for the PowerPoint Project; Trait Theory, Transformational Leadership Theory, Fiedler's Contingency Theory, Path-Goal Theory, and Strategic Contingencies Theory).
  • Discuss which leadership style to which you are most aligned. ( For this one, Transformational Leadership Theory).
  • Discuss how you would practice this leadership style in your current work environment. If you are not currently employed, discuss how you would practice this style of leadership in a future job you might like to hold (I'm currently not employed and would like some help on how to use the type of leadership style I chose to practice in for a future job of employment).
  • Conclusion
  • References-APA Format

Format the assignment consistent with APA guidelines, including citations used in APA format for essay.

Would greatly appreciate any help I can receive on this tough, two-part assignment I have here in my management course.

Effective leadership
Effective leadership enables companies to create visions aligned within the organization’s

Ethics may as well get referred to as the moral philosophy involves developing,

reason behind the success that occurred in those firms. Despite indicating various styles of
leadership and management, the leadership ensures that the managerial team would perform their
duties according to the set goals. Recognition remained the most profound element of the two
leaders, for they used beyond their resources to make sure that the companies succeeded.

Steve jobs get remembered not only for the wonders that Apple Inc. attained but also for
the leadership skills that Steve held. According to Winkler, (2012), Steve purposely articulated

Steve Jobs dropped out of the CEO position in 1985, from his authoritative personality,
however, he got reinstated as the leader after some time. When he got back to his post as the
CEO of Apple Inc. he left a legacy in the company that made Apple Inc. famous. Steve Jobs gets
considered one of the most successful CEO, not only in America, but also in the entire universe
during his time. Steve Jobs exhibited a unique leadership style, ethnic standards, and consistency
in the decision-making process, (Gill, 2013).
Steve Jobs present transformational leadership, when he predicts the future of Apple Inc.
through the significant amount of investments that he and his colleagues perform. Steve jobs
used transformational leadership to practice entrepreneurship within the company that led to the
development of sophisticated devices including the iPods, and Mac. Steve created a list of
opportunities, the creation of visions, and trends within the firm. Steve developed unique
manners the enabled him to maneuver the followers to embrace the changes that he intended
practiced within the organization. He ensured that his followers took the processes entirely
seriously. The workers instead acquired the leadership skills, autonomously generating decisions
