Is it possible that information technology-based organizations will not need to develop a proprietary infrastructure anymore--that is, instead, firms might choose to just rely on the Internet for information systems assets...if this is the case, then firms might focus mainly on developing applications that tie to the internet...would such an approach have a positive impact on decision making...why or why not...what are your thoughts in this regard...?
