Wedding budgets are financial estimates of an actual cost to be incurred during a wedding
ceremony. They help the couple, friends and family to plan on the amount they should raise
based on the expected expenditure.
The budgets in most cases vary from the actual cost, where the budget is usually an
underestimate of the true value. Some couples make a specific wedding budget in mind and
while they stick to that budget, in the end, actual costs add up quickly and exceed the original
budget. For example, attached is a Microsoft excel file showing a wedding budget where the
total estimated funding was $22,500 while the actual funding was $27,000. However, the total
