When making retail purchasing decisions, we buy the package as much as we buy the actual contents. Creative packaging and colorful, creative logos have the ability to invoke emotion and direct purchasing decisions like any other media. 

Visit your local grocery store and view the logos and packages on the shelf.  How are the logos used to lure you as a consumer to buy one particular product over another on the shelf? What trends do you see in terms of the design? What other visual images within the store influence your decision making?

Write a 1-2 page reflection on your experience and observations in the aisles.
