I've watched many "Treehouse Masters" episodes on Animal Planet. I never had one of my own, but the smell would be of cedar since that is what I would want my tree house made of. Smell of fresh grass, the flowers, hear the birds, crickets and other animals. See over the yard - the grass, the fence on the one side of our yard, the shrubbery line on the other side of the yard, she the small stream behind our house where we used to feed the ducks with left over dried bread. Touch the thickness of the branches, the smoothness of the wood. The furniture would be cedar with firm cushioning. There would be a ramp going down from the treehouse to the yard (since I can't climb anymore). As far as tasting, not sure about that, only that the treehouse would have a kitchen with a table, chairs, small sink, cupboards, and a small refrigerator. I wouldn't want a treehouse I would live in, only spend a few hours a day in. The small kitchen would be for snacks only, not regular meals. It would be neat to hear and see the birds on the upper branches. I could never see far distances, so to see the birds, their nest would be so cool.
