Abstract
Companies increasingly realize the importance of sustainability as a result of changing
global views. Businesses are increasingly required to bridge the knowledge-to-action gap by
developing long-term business plans. When a company takes environmentally friendly
initiatives, it usually affects product pricing and demand. Taking sustainability initiatives has an
impact on a company's reputation. Improved stakeholder connections, product innovation, new
market possibilities, waste minimization, and employee happiness are just a few of the
advantages of business sustainability. Management has to create a collaborative environment,
develop a sense of purpose, show commitment to accountability, and provide positive
reinforcement so that sustainability-oriented programs and initiatives can succeed. Besides,
leaders have to participate in innovation, activate employees for success, and use the right
leadership style. Through innovation, organizations can coordinate themselves with market
demands and with the changes in the environment. Transformational leadership allows leaders to
improve the innovative capacity of their organization. For an organization to remain competitive,
it must innovate continuously through creative efforts. Team building makes such efforts
successful.
