enhancing one's health and well-being.



Identify needs: One define who we are and give impressions of who we are by way of our
communication.



Social needs: Communications helps one to express pleasure, affection, escape,

Practical needs- Through communication, one achieves one's daily needs such as getting
directions, accomplishing targets, and enhancing understanding of one's surrounding and

Unintentional communication happens when for instance one tries to do something that is
suggestive of a needed action or help without communicating. For instance, a student may look
at a teacher in a manner that suggests that the student is in agreement with the teacher’s view.
This type of communication is never purposeful, though, may be accompanied by action as well
as words. Intentional communication, on the other hand, implies the type of communication done
when one is conscious and knows the intentions and consequences of one's messages on the
other. For instance, a teacher asks a student a question with the expectation of getting an answer
from the student.
