1. The assentation that the human mind or witness is a crime scene and should be treated like any
other physical crime scene should be followed. This is because the human mind of the witness
could have strong evidence which can help identify an assailant. The witness might have
evidence which cannot be found at the physical crime scene. This statement means that just like
any other physical crime scene is protected for example at a homicide scene unauthorized people
are not allowed into the scene the human mind should also be secured the same way in that the
unauthorized personnel should not come into contact with the witness since they might
contaminate the information.
Law enforcement can prevent information contamination by interviewing the witness after a
short time so as to avoid the witness from forgetting important information. The witness should
be given security to prevent him or her from being harmed since the information might be critical
and could attract enemies. The law enforcement could use scientifically validated method to
examine the witness for example the use of open ended questions. During the interview video
