Most economists believe climate change underestimated
If anybody believes that climate change is a myth, they should speak to an economist. Although
they do not all agree as to what extent climate change will affect us, there is a general consensus among
economists that climate change is a real concern and poses future problems for industry and the
economy if steps are not taken to reduce the damage. Research has been done that shows most
economists who have studied climate change believe that the climate/economic research community,
which is a small group of economists, is underestimating climate change and giving policymakers poor
advice.
Global warming will definitely continue because of the effects of past emissions and even with
a climate-change policy, the amount of carbon dioxide that exists in the atmosphere will continue to
