Question description

Discussion: Where Would You Go?

It's time to share your thoughts with your classmates. Consider all of the concepts you have learned about the Earth, its crust, and its core.

  • Select a location on or in the Earth that you would like to visit (even if it's impossible). Some location ideas may include an Earth layer, a plate location, a supercontinent location, the seafloor, etc. Describe the specific reasons why you would want to visit this location. Also, include the features you have learned about in this lesson and others in this module.

Look at Arnold's post:

I want to go to the Earth's core. I have learned that it is metal and really hot, but its not a liquid. I just want to see what that feels like, and I would like to see how much heat is actually released as radiation in the nuclear reactions taking place there.
